Command Description
+religThe religion is system at Modern Command is meant to deepen a character. No coded bonuses are awarded/taken away based on religion. Every player has a score associated with religion, indicating an identification with a particular faith. Higher scores indicate a stronger personal association with a specific religion. We recognize the difference between religion and inner-spritual life. As far as religion is concerned, we focus on the former, not the latter. If you would like to add a religion, please let a staff member know.
+pointsEvery character has character generation points. We generally split these up into attributes, skills, merits, flaws, and experience points. This is one of the few character generation commands available outside of the character generation area. Points can be earned for a myriad of different things. If you want to spend some points (to raise a skill or perhaps a merit) just contact a staff person.
+meritsMerits are adventageous social situations, characteristics, and traits which are generally viewed as favorable for the player. The higher a specific score on an merit, the stronger it's influence on a player.
+flawsFlaws are disadventageous social situations, characteristics, and traits which are generally viewed as negative for the player. The higher a specific score on a flaw, the stronger it's influence on a player. As incentive, adding flaws gives you more merit/flaw points. Keep in mind very high flaw scores (anything over 30) are major obstructions, and should be RP'ed as such.
+skillsSkills are a proficiency, facility, or dexterity that is acquired or developed through training or experience (source: dictionary.com) The higher level skill, the better you are at it.
+attribAtttributes are basic building blocks of your character.
